Adjacent to The Moma, The Modern is probably the most underrated two Michelin stars restaurant in the City. I do not know why. Anyway, we were looking for a place to celebrate our anniversary when we saw that they offer a unique experience that any food enthusiast would appreciate: a table in the kitchen that gives you an inside look to what happens in the kitchen.

I have been to Michelin star. The table itself - a single table for 4 inside the very large kitchen - is an exciting place to be. It feels special.

It is special. Definitely worth the $50/pp upgrade from the dining room. Plenty of added touches too, like a large gift box with a polaroid camera.
