A T Oil Temp Toyota Prado

My Toyota Prado instrument panel will trigger A/T OIL TEMP on when climbing long hill. As the car climbing, the radiator temperature remains the same. Once I drive down hill, the A/T OIL TEMP indication ultimately will disappear. I believe this indication is genuine but I don't know what is the root cause problem.
