September 4, 2023 Dundas Valley Conservation Area (VE-5359)

To celebrate Labor Day, I went to Dundas Valley Conservation Area, VE-5359. It doesn't hurt that it is near my daughter, and I was able to visit her for a little while!

The challenge today was that I did not have very good cell coverage, so I was not able to spot myself on the POTA website. I did have occasional SMS, and so VE3MRX and VA3OBJ helped me spot, and I did have signal on 2m and 70cm to the club's repeater VE3RSB (though everyone was off doing fun stuff for the long weekend apparently!).

I operated from 14:45 UTC to 16:04, so an hour and 20 minutes, and made 15 QSOs, 12 of which were park-to-park. All were on 20m SSB.
