October 7, 2023: Borer's Falls Conservation Reserve, Hamilton (VE-1323)

Today was a nice fall day, with a little rain, and some clouds. I decided to do a POTA that was close to Hamilton, so that I could pick up my daughter in Hamilton for Canadian Thanksgiving. Borer's falls is 39 km drive from Oakville. The park is part of the Bruce Trail, so it is also an activation for VE-0063.

The best parking is in the Rock Chapel Nature Sanctuary, managed by the Royal Botanical Gardens. Parking requires a ticket. I paid $5.00 for an hour and a half.

The trail takes you along the road, and you can see Hamilton nicely, though it was very hazy today.

From the road you can see where the source of the falls spilling over the edge.

Eventually you come to the falls.

I set up right along the trail, about 50 meters down the path from the falls.
