I found a nice tree in the parking lot, but deploying the antenna proved to be rather difficult. In the first two attempts, when pulling the wire into the tree, it got tangled in the grass (I did not realise it at the time, and when I pulled, the wire broke). First in one place and then at another, making the antenna quite a bit shorter. The weakness, I suspect, came from two places that the wire got nicked when I tried to deploy the antenna using a collapsable fishing pole, and it collapsed, nicking the wire. So I will have to make a new random-wire antenna after this, as it does not tune as nicely as it once did. The good news is that I only need $9.00 spool of wire.

The good news is that the parking lot and tailgate worked out nicely.
