March 22, 2025, Oakville Harbour Historic Site (CA-6319) and Great Lakes Waterfront Trail (CA-6003)

A quick activation after a morning at the horse barn for a lesson. It was pretty windy and fairly cold, so again had to activate inside the car.

I was very happy to get two park-to-park stations in Washington! I had to repeat the exchange several times, but that just made it more rewarding once we were successful!

Here's the audio. I still have to work out the levels or something, as my transmissions are very clipped, but the receive audio is discernible if not great quality. I started calling CQ, then noticed that Jim Vaughn, WBØRLJ, in Nebraska was also on 20m, so I did a quick park-to-park, and then started calling CQ. The audio has about 6 minutes of messing about until I get a frequency and spot myself.

Here's a map of the QSOs, all 20m CW.
