I was optimizing a trip to Hamilton to drop off a care package for my daughter who is studying at McMaster, so I thought I would try out this POTA. It was first activated by Dave Burroughs, who joins us for CW practice every Thursday evening.
A very foggy and rainy day. I did not have internet, but thankfully I scheduled the activation and the Reverse Beacon Network picked me up. I got 17 QSOs in about 45 minutes, so not bad.
Here's the audio. I tried doing a capture of the audio from an external speaker this time. You can hear in the beginning when the VE3RSB UHF repeater comes in loud on my handheld I forgot to turn off.
