May 11, 2025, Oakville Harbour Historic Site (CA-6319) and Great Lakes Waterfront Trail (CA-6003)

A lovely day to spend at Oakville Harbour! The girls were out doing Mothers Day rock climbing, and so I didn't want to burden them with my poor endurance, so I went to activate. The bands were slow for me, and it took 80 minutes or so just to get 10 QSOs. All were 20m CW, with the KX2 and an Alex Mag Loop.

You can see my tripod, Mag Loop, and backpack next to the convenient Adirondack chairs. The finish on the chair was smooth and slippery, so I had to hold the KX2 when sending on the attached Begali Adventure paddle.

Here's a map of the QSOs.
