Is the 2024 s1000xr considered a gen 3 model? I recently put a deposit on an s1000xr and discussed a little with the dealer for the XR model cycles. The Aprilia has some things about it that I love, it's SO light compared to the XR, it feels like it's 1/2 the weight (combo of being quite a bit lighter and much lower to the ground), it turns and carves with less effort than the XR, it feels more "playful" than "battleship". But man alive is the XR amazing machine.
