The Bible student will understand one passage where He feeds 5,000 and another passage where He feeds 4,000. However, there's another important difference I'd like you to see.

This past Sunday we studied the account of the feeding of the 5000 plus described in Mark 6 and John 6. The feeding of the multitudes was clearly important to the Gospel writers since, aside from the Resurrection, it is the only miracle recorded by all four. The indisputable miracles helped them be certain that Jesus must be the One foretold by all the prophets (Luke 24:27; John 1:45), the coming King of Israel (Isaiah 9:6, 7 Luke 1:32, 33).

Was the Feeding of the 4000 and 5000 Two Separate Events? Bible critics have claimed that the feeding of the 4000 and the 5000 refer to one event.
