We're moving to a house that needs a new bathroom and I'm just trying to get an idea of what it'll cost. I've found rough ideas of what I think most of the materials (i.e bath, taps, loo, sink and vanity, shower and enclosure, tiles and flooring) but have absolutely no idea about the cost of the actual work. So I've done up various bathrooms myself and employed plumbers/handymen/bathroom fitters over the years too.
My conclusion is a proper bathroom fitter is worth their weight in gold! They can do all the plumbing, obviously, but they just know what to do in situations where you uncover something unexpected. Hi all Looking for advice from those who have recently changed up their bathroom. We're looking at stripping it all out and replacing with new kit, new tiles, floor, etc. How much have you recently paid for a standard bathroom? I'm also interested in the split of item costs and labour costs.

We've just bought a new place and the boiler is around 17 years old (albeit serviced annually). We want to renovate the bathroom and also consider changing the boiler. Family Bathroom with bath, toilet sink unit and a fair amount of floor space for all new fittings, tiles and floor- 11k (Winchester).
Small en-suite- new shower, had to do pip work and some wall work, units, fittings, toilet, floor and tiles. I spent just under £10k for a small bathroom with no layout changes. This includes new bath, shower, radiator towel rail, built in toilet, sink and storage units along one wall, full wall and floor tiling, ceiling lights and fan and replaster, and floor.
How much should a new bathroom cost? [Deleted User] Posts: 0 Newbie 20 January 2023 at 6:01PM edited 24 March 2023 at 6:02AM Hi all I have a small bathroom. Around 2.6m x 1.6m. I used B&Q and Victoria Plumb design service and got quoted over £14k! I appreciate this is everything being ripped out and replaced, but this just seemed way too much.
