Inverts the color of individual windows so they are hue-preserved. Default shortcut is Super+I Extension Homepage https://github.com/jackkenney/gnome. I dislike that most websites use a black font on white background for their sites, as it gets too tiresome for me to read.

Inverting colors is extremely useful. For example, say you have dark mode and you open some PDF with white pages, you can simply invert the colors to make it black with white text. I have some custom colours set up inside gnome-terminal, basically light text on dark background. The problem is, some programs interact badly with the colors. For example, htop uses very light green/blues for highlighting text, but the text itself is not inverted so it's very poorly visible - see image.

Now, I'd expect that there is some kind of protocol that tells htop (or vim etc.) whether. I've looked at doing this via a colour scheme (high contrast inverted) in Gnome3 without success - with liferea and icedove, menus and sidebars had the inverted color scheme but the parts where actual text is displayed where still black on white. Maybe there's a better scheme for this purpose?

To swap black for white, white for black, and so on, press the menu button in the top. I use it quite frequently. It's great that it can invert colors of a single window.
