Manhart skipped upgrading the 3.2 L S54 inline-six that originally came in this BMW E46 M3 CSL.
Instead they swapped a 5.0 L S85 V10 from a BMW E60 M5. Manhart increased the motor's output to 560 hp (411 kW) and 550 Nm (405 lb-ft) of torque. The V10's sound is accentuated by custom stainless steel headers and a titanium exhaust.
Behind the motor is a SMG. Consists of Manhart Racing remap, Sport SMG programme and Vmax delimiter, Approx increase to 524bhp 540nm. The Manhart MHZ4 600 involves dumping an enlarged E60 M5 S85 V10 in an E85 Z4, with predictably hilarious results.
