Driving the other day on a bumpy road and all of a sudden bong all the lights in the picture came up. I have scanned the car and it was a speed sensor on the front left. Changed the sensor and the lights are still showing.
They haven't gone off and are there as soon as I hit the start button. « Previous Thread Next Thread Start Off Assistance Inactive! Our e90 N52B25 6 cylinder UDM comes with Start assistance, only unique to the 6cylinder versions, 4 pot does not come with it.
What it does is, when starting the car on a hill slope, upon engaging from P or N to D, it will keep the car on the same spot (ie. the car will not roll down) for a few seconds untill you accelerate and drive off. That's hill start assist inactive which holds the brake for 2 seconds before you start off so you don't roll.
There could be a fault in the component you replaced or you made a mistake calibrating it.
