You can enable vibration feedback when pressing slew buttons and when go-to finishes.
Set the amount of backlash for reducing lag when reversing slewing direction. Do not set the value to exceed the true backlash; otherwise, there will be overshooting.
Limits the telescope’s pointing altitude to avoid it from hitting the tripod. When the Catalog Filter option is turned on, celestial objects that exceed the limits will not appear in lists.
Only applicable to mounts that are equipped with auxiliary encoders. Do not turn on this option if you do not need to rotate the telescope mount manually (not using the 8-way buttons in the app).
This page configures the internal or external SynScan Wi-Fi adapter. You can choose the working mode of the adapter and/or modify the Wi-Fi network’s name (SSID) and password.
SynScan Wi-Fi adapter can works in either Access Point Mode or Station Mode.
Access Point mode (default)
Your mobile device will join the Wi-Fi network created by the SynScan Wi-Fi adapter to control the telescope mount. It is easier to use, but your mobile device might lose access to Internet, and the power consumption of the Wi-Fi adapter can be higher.
Station mode
The SynScan Wi-Fi Adapter will join a Wi-Fi network created by a wireless router or you mobile device (Hotspot). Your mobile device will need to join the same Wi-Fi network to control the telescope mount, unless your device is serving as the Hotspot. You have to make sure that the Wi-Fi network is present and you set the SSID and password correctly. In this mode, your mobile device can keep connecting to Internet while it is operating the telescope mount; the Wi-Fi adapter consumes less power.
In most case, "Use DHCP" should be enabled.
