Re: Why can't I change text color in Pages? When you select text of all one color the tool displays that color and you can click the color to change it. Seems if you select text of more than one color, that tool is unable to display multicolors. If it bothers you, you can always choose "View" (in the top menu) > "Show colors" (scroll down list) to have a small window with all the colors.
