Kathy from Wickes Norwich has helped me with a new kitchen and bathroom - Kathy has gone above and beyond to talk things through, to listen to my ideas and answer all of my questions. I have just ordered a new bathroom in the Wickes sale - great price and some good discounts on the products. They are also offering 20% off Wickes installation, bringing the total cost for 'dry' installation to £1900 (for a bath with shower over, built-in sink, back-to-wall built-in loo, and 2 separate cabinets).

I'm hoping to refit my bathroom but am unsure of where to start. I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences of the bathroom design and installation service offered by the big high-street brands e.g. Wickes; B&Q; Plumworld; Victorian Plumbing etc., if you'd be so kind.

Thank you in advance. Both companies seem to sub-contract the jobs to self-employed persons, consequently the quality of work varies and when there are problems the companies don't want to take responsibility because they didn't actually do the work. Plenty of reviews on Trustpilot.

Carl arrived for my home visit promptly and was incredibly patient, talking me through every step of the process with clarity and expertise. I've recently had my kitchen and bathroom done by Wickes. It's not really a question of how good they are, because they use local contractors to do the installations.
