The Art House has hosted international art, illustration and photography exhibitions. This site is also home to the final year Worcester Degree Show, where our students can showcase their artwork. The Art House forms a corner of the Worcester Creative Quarter, which is in progress The Hive and the Art House serve as cornerstones for a vibrant artist quarter, which includes bars, artists studios, agencies and exhibitions and events.
The Museum is open during normal hours with exciting new art on view, but you might notice that certain spaces and galleries are temporarily closed during your visit. The Worcester Art Museum houses over 38,000 works of art dating from antiquity to the present day and representing cultures from all over the world. It provides an open studio, workshop and exhibition space for our students and the community. This chapter house once served as a meeting room for monks, and the Gothic stone arches, stained glass windows, and grand fireplace inspire a quiet awe to this day. Originally built in the 12th century and in use until the French Revolution, the chapter house was moved stone.
The Art House This newly renovated facility has created innovative and experimental home for the Arts in Worcester. Inside The Art House you'll find a series of large open spaces that are continually transformed to meet the needs of our students. Studios and workshops are created alongside intimate spaces for small group learning.
