I use a combo: TB 3-1-1 bag and the TB travel tray. I do usually take things out of the bag to leave on the counter. The travel tray serves dual duty, en route it holds any non-liquid toiletries (toothbrush, meds, etc) that I put in the bathroom on arrival.
