My main point is this (and I've mounted/demounted this thing dozens of times): You raise the belly pan up so the 2 "main" screw inserts (donuts) meet the mount that they slide in to, they can NOT be raised to the point they need to be at to slide into the engine-mounted bracket. The reason is the very top edge of the belly pan (above the mesh screen. Complete belly pan mounts for all K75S bikes.

Includes hardware. I've picked up a belly pan for my 1990 K75s, and have got all the right brackets etc, but is there a knack to getting it on? I can either have it sitting right in the back bracket, or sitting right on the two rubber grommets under the engine, but can't see how you'd get them both to sit right at the same time. Do you have to take the upper fairing off first? Any tips please?

Sourced an old belly pan in bad condition. Lucky to find an original BMW belly pan kit with all OEM replacement parts and the local body shop did an amazing job fixing and painting the piece. Love.

K75S Belly Pan Repair Had my K75S knocked over a while ago. Knockdown bent some stuff, scratched up the left side fairing and cracked the belly pan where the car that knocked the bike down hit it. The pan was cracked and the crack opened and closed as the pan was flexed.

To stabilize it I needed to add a couple layers of fiberglass to the back to add rigidity to the pan. First, I scuffed the. Slotting the belly pan (on my K75S) into the two rubber grommets at the front end, is incredibly tricky, and after tightening up the bolts once you *think* it's in place, it still wobbles around a bit.

K75s fell over enough on left side to crack belly pan in 2 different places. Can these be repaired, if so how? If not, do I need to plan on buying the left side and repainting? The K75 belly pan is split in to left and right halves; please specify which half you need! Brackets and fasteners may be available, please enquire.
