Johan van Zyl (8 June 1958 - 30 July 2021) was a South African business executive. He was an executive of Toyota, serving as chairman, president and chief executive officer of Toyota Motor Europe from 2015 to 2021. Dr van Zyl began his career with Toyota in 1993, when he was appointed Director of Vehicle Sales & Dealer Network for Toyota South Africa (TSA).

He was promoted to the role of President and COO of TSA in 2002, before becoming President and CEO in 2003. Johan van Zyl, a long-time senior Toyota executive who stood down as the head of the firm's European division earlier this year, has died at the age of 63. The South African had worked for Toyota.
