GR Track Experience brings the thrill of the track directly to the hands of passionate Toyota GR owners nationwide. I've recently gone to the track day event at Sebring Florida thanks to the free track day experience that Toyota gives us GR86 owners. I don't think I can properly convey how fun the entire event was.

The instructors were extremely nice and patient, the track itself was challenging but fun, and the other high performance drivers were very welcoming. A dude who was tracking his corvette. The GR Track Experience is offered to every buyer of a new Toyota GR model - including the GR Supra, GR86, and GR Corolla.

Each participant receives a complimentary, one-day NASA HPDE track event and a one-year full-benefit NASA membership. It's an experience designed not only to thrill, but to build driver skill and confidence. I finally signed up for my free track day from Toyota.

It's gonna be at New Jersey Motorsports Park, first week of November. This will be my first time on a track at all, so I signed up for the HPDE-Intro option. What tips do you fine folks have for this first timer on a track? I know the basics.

I want to protect the paint, are these the areas to cover? -front bumper / hood -fenders - side mirrors -rocker panel and quarter panel -rear bumper behind wheel well Also is there anything else I would need to bring? I thought it was a nice circuit and enjoyed the day. There was an excellent thread on Pistonheads around first time track day advice so check that out. From my experience of Thruxton: -learn the track, and build up through the day, don't go out of the gates at full chat.

Momentum and being smooth is key. Ideally get some tuition or at least. Toyota's already been offering a free NASA track day with every Supra purchase, but now 86 buyers are included.
