This Privacy Policy explains how StockShaala ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application. By using StockShaala, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
StockShaala uses Google Sign-In as the only method of authentication. When you sign in, we receive the following from your Google account:

The App displays delayed stock market prices and related data obtained from third-party publicly available financial data sources. This data is provided for educational and informational purposes only and may be delayed or inaccurate. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data shown.

Your account information is retained for as long as your account remains active. Your virtual portfolio and progress data are stored on your device and remain there until you delete them, reset your portfolio, delete your account, or uninstall the App.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account within the App. This removes your StockShaala data (XP, streak, virtual portfolio) from your device and signs you out. Because sign-in is via Google, you may return at any time by signing in again with the same Google account.
You can reset your virtual portfolio at any time from Profile → Reset Virtual Portfolio.
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
StockShaala is intended for users aged 18 and above and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
We use industry-standard measures, including secure authentication via Firebase and on-device storage for sensitive simulation data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your information may be processed on servers operated by Google/Firebase located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to such transfer in accordance with this policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
