We were told it would have to be 10’, but after a long debate, we were able to do 11’ ceilings! The issue had to do with the code for our staircase and having a second story over that area. In the end I am very happy with the 11’ ceiling! I love the extra storage I get having my cabinets go to 10’! And I’m still super happy we did beams instead of taking the cabinets to 11’. We needed the warmth of them in our all white kitchen! *I added my first holiday decor yesterday! I may be the last on IG!
