Yugioh Artwork Changes

This is a list of all TCG and Korean OCG cards that had their artwork modified from the original Japanese OCG/anime artwork, often for purposes of censorship. This list also contains Japanese OCG cards with retroactive edits. Alternate artwork is used to describe the artwork of any card that is different from that of its Original Print.

Alternate artworks are typically available in the form of promotional cards and are usually of cards popularized by characters in the anime. For example, "Dark Magician Girl" has four alternate artworks in the OCG (three of which are present in the TCG and one original artwork. Quarter Century Stampede features rare alternate art printings of iconic Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.

Some alternate arts showcase classic Duel Monster legends with unique appearances. Cards like Effect Veiler and Nibiru The Primal Being receive exciting new alternate arts. Current list of all Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG cards with multiple artworks.

Compare card images and find your favorite artwork for your deck or collection! I just wanted to give a comparison to the modern art design of Yugioh vs dm era of yugioh. Most pictures used here are from rush duels or recent retrains also admittedly on closer look DM era did not have the best artist at the time and you could spot mistakes.
