Long Range Cover Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Long Range Cover mobile application (the “Application”). The Application is provided by Conlan ApS (the “Service Provider”) as a free service.
This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and how it is protected.

The Application collects only the information necessary to provide account functionality.

When registering an account, the following information is collected:

- User name
The user name does not need to be the user's real name.
An email verification process is required to confirm account ownership.
No additional personal information is required to use the Application.
3. How We Use the Information
The collected information is used solely for operating the Application and managing user accounts.
The email address may be used for:
- Account registration confirmation
- Email verification
- Inviting users to an organization within the Application
- Password reset requests
- Account deletion confirmation
The Service Provider does not use personal data for marketing purposes and does not send promotional communications.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
Personal data is processed under the following legal bases:

Processing is necessary to create and manage user accounts and provide the Application's services.

Processing may be necessary to maintain the security, integrity, and proper functioning of the Application.
5. Data Storage and Infrastructure
User account data is stored using infrastructure provided by Google Cloud.
The Application uses Google Firestore as a database service hosted on Google Cloud.
These services are used solely as infrastructure providers to store and process data on behalf of the Service Provider.
The Service Provider:
- does not sell personal data
- does not share personal data with third parties
- does not use analytics or advertising services
6. Automatic Data Collection
The Application does not collect analytics data, usage tracking information, or behavioral profiling data.
Basic technical data may be temporarily processed by cloud infrastructure or operating systems to provide the service and ensure system security. This data is not used to identify users.
7. Data Retention
User account data is retained for as long as the user account remains active.
Users can request deletion of their account at any time. Account deletion can be initiated within the Application or through a backend link provided by the Service Provider.
Once an account is deleted, associated personal data (email address and user name) will be removed within a reasonable period unless retention is required for legal obligations or security reasons.

8. User Rights (GDPR)
Users located in the European Economic Area have the following rights regarding their personal data:

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
The Application is not intended for individuals under the age of 13.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If such information is discovered, it will be deleted promptly.
