Introduction
ABMR Holdings Pte Ltd ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Zuto mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
App Overview
Zuto is a simple audio recording application designed to make it easy for you to record, save, and manage audio recordings. An optional feature may request access to your Google Calendar to enhance scheduling or tagging functionality.
Information Collection and Use
Device Permissions
Zuto requires microphone access to function properly. This permission is used solely for the purpose of recording audio as initiated by you. We do not access your microphone without your explicit action to start a recording.
Optional Google Calendar Access
Zuto may request permission to access your Google Calendar. This is entirely optional and is used to enhance your experience with time-based notifications related to your meetings and events.
- Calendar access is used to detect upcoming meetings and notify you so you can prepare or start a recording in time
- This feature helps you stay organized and ensures important moments are not missed
- You can decline or revoke calendar access at any time through your device settings without affecting core recording functionality
Data We Do Not Collect
We want to be clear about what we don't collect:
- We do not collect personal information like your name, email, or address unless explicitly provided by you
- We do not track your location
- We do not collect your browsing history
- We do not collect device identifiers
- We do not store or transmit your calendar events
Audio Recording Data
The primary function of Zuto involves audio recording. We want to be clear about how we handle this data:
- When you initiate a recording, the audio and related metadata may be transmitted securely to our servers for processing, improved transcription accuracy, and to develop and train our speech and audio models.
- Recordings stored on our servers are used to provide and improve the Service, including quality assurance, model evaluation, and feature development. Where feasible, we apply de-identification and minimization practices.
- By using the recording features, you acknowledge and consent to this transmission and processing.
- You may request deletion of server-stored recordings by contacting us at support@abmrholdings.com. Subject to applicable law, we will honor deletion requests and, where required, opt-out requests from use for model training.
Storage of Data
Server Storage
- Audio recordings and derived artifacts (such as transcripts) may be stored on our servers to deliver the Service and improve accuracy and reliability.
- We retain recordings for as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Retention periods may vary based on operational needs and legal requirements.
- Upon verified request, we will delete or anonymize recordings from our systems, subject to legal or legitimate business obligations.
Local Storage
- Some recordings or cached data may be stored locally on your device to support app functionality and offline access.
- You can manage or delete locally stored files using your device settings or in-app controls, where available.
Third-Party Cloud Infrastructure
- We may use reputable cloud service providers to host and process recordings on our behalf under strict contractual and security obligations.
- Where used, recordings are encrypted in transit and at rest.
Security of Data
The security of your data is important to us. We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and monitoring. While no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, we work to protect your information and continuously improve our security practices.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.
