  1. I need more information about Tara app.
  1. Tara App is a hyperlocal application that can be used both by Merchants and Individuals
  2. Sign up to Tara App using your Mobile number followed by addition of your Bank account (Bank BRI / Mandiri / BTN). At this stage you can select your profile as Individual or as Merchant
  3. If Merchant profile is selected, you can create your store (and store website gets created instantly), add inventory, share your store with your contacts through social media like WhatsApp,  ready for accepting remote and POS orders. Payment link can be created for collecting payments.  All transaction information can be seen on the dashboard.
  4. If Individual profile is selected, you can send (against received payment links) and collect money. All transaction details can be seen through the dashboard.

  1. What are the platform Fees/ commissions charged to merchants or individuals for using Tara app?
  1. There are no platform fees charged for Tara app.  
  2. The standard charges for processing the Payments are applicable  

  1. I am not able to register my mobile number.
  1. Please type your mobile number, click the arrow to get an OTP. You need to input the OTP to register the mobile.  

 

  1. How can I create my Store?

After registration of Mobile number, addition of bank account, on selection of Merchant profile the next screen shows up for Store creation

  1. You can add logo of your shop & banner from phone gallery or using the mobile camera.
  2. Fill up the details like Shop name, category, sub-category & your name to open the next screen for registering store address & location.  
  3. You can choose the location from the map or search for your location

  1. How can I get my website created?
  1. The website is created instantly after the store is created.  Website link can be shared with your contacts over social media channels like WhatsApp.

  1. How can I add the product to the catalogue?
  1. You can add a single product details like item name, category, upload image using camera, gallery or through search image option, type its selling & discount price. Also add inventory of items available for sale, category & description of your product.  You can also bulk upload of product details through csv file upload facility, template for the csv file can be downloaded through the App.

  1. Can I share my website over WhatsApp and/ or SMS?
  1. Yes, Merchant can share store Website link to consumers over WhatsApp, SMS.

  1. Can I share my store over social media?
  1. Yes. You can share the store link any time to consumers over Facebook, Instagram & Telegram.

  1.  How can I create the POS order & payment?
  1. Please click on the POS icon at the bottom to open the POS page showing the catalogue page.
  2. Select items with quantity been ordered, items get added to the cart
  3. Add customer’s Mobile number & Name to proceed with the payment screen.
  4. The payment screen appears with payment options:
  1. Cash (Only for walk in customers)
  2. Online (through Payment link)
  3. QRIS  

  1. How can I receive the orders?
  1. Walk-in - The customer can walk into the store & order items. Based on the items required you can create the order using POS and receive payment through QRIS or payment link or cash.
  2. Phone or WhatsApp - You can receive the orders from customers over phone number & WhatsApp message. Using the POS screen, you can create the order and send the payment link over WhatsApp & SMS to the customer.  
  3. Order through Consumer profile :  Store details with items will be visible on the Consumer profile.
  4. Store website - The customer can order from the store website. The notification of these orders you will receive on WhatsApp.

  1. Can I get details of my sales?
  1. Yes. You get details of sales through transaction dashboard.

  1. Can I send feedback by email to Tara?
  1. Yes. You can click on Send feedback button to Tara helpline email ID “support@tara.app”. You can type the feedback and share with us.

  1. Can I make a call to the Tara customer care?
  1. Yes. You can call on Tara customer care number
