Organising a Wedding can be a daunting task, but there is plenty of help out there. I would just like to outline some of the things I can be of assistance with.
MEETING YOU
It's really important you are comfortable with me as your Celebrant, so I will meet with you to make sure you are. There is no pressure to use me if you do not wish to.
During this meeting, I will learn a little about you, get an idea of what you want, give you some ceremony ideas etc. You can also ask me any questions about what I can offer as a Celebrant.
This is always a nice time to talk about your special day.
THE MARRIAGE LICENCE
The cost for this is $150.00
If you choose to use me as your Celebrant, there will be a space for you to list my details. You will be sent the Licence
in the mail and will give it to me before the wedding. I will go through it with you to make sure all is completed and
discuss what we need to do at the ceremony regarding the signatures.
Both of you will need to sign this, along with two witnesses.
There are two identical copies to be signed and witnessed. I will give you one copy at the ceremony that is yours, and I will take the other copy to register the wedding with.
THE CEREMONY
I love to make sure the wedding ceremony reflects you and who you are. There are a lot of different ways to do this and I am happy to talk some ideas with you if you want to.
I will also be able to discuss some things that will make the ceremony run smoothly and take away any unnecessary nervousness.
THE REHEARSAL
It is always good to have a one hour rehersal prior to the wedding and most venues will allow this.
The purpose is to run through the theatrics, in other words, who stands where and where things such as the signing table will be, the walk in etc. We don't actually run through vows etc, unless you want to.
A rehearsal makes the day a lot more comfortble for everyone involved and is a lot of fun.
