- Sidecar - Another WWI cocktail, this Cognac, lemon and orange has a lot in common with a
Brandy Crusta
- Southside - Gin, citrus, mint - a great combo in a glass
- Bee's Knees - Everyone thought it was great then, and it is now. Gin, lemon, honey, and I add a
touch of lavendar
- Scofflaw - Like how bootleggers scoffed at the law in Prohibition, this drink of rye, vermouth, and
grenadine scoffs at tradition
- Hanky-Panky - Gin, sweet vermouth, Fernet-Branca. It's like nothing you've ever had!
- Lucien Gaudin - You may not know the famous French fencer this drink is named for, but his
namesake cocktail of gin, campari, cointreau and vermouth is definitely memorable
- Gin Rickey - DC's claim to fame for cocktails. Gin, club soda, and lime seems simple, but it's infinitely variable as well
Note: My cocktail classes, of course, focus on cocktail making, but that doesn't mean we won't be eating as well! We'll focus on making and tasting amazing craft cocktails, but we'll also plan out some well-paired light foods to go with the drinks, to make sure the entire experience is a great one.
