About Jill
With over 35 years of experience in the health, fitness and wellbeing industry, Jill has built a lifelong career centred around movement, teaching, healing and helping others feel their best.
Her journey began through competitive sport and dance before discovering her passion for coaching at the age of 19, when she became a figure skating teacher. Her coaching career took her over to the United States, where she worked with athletes in training schools and gymnastics centres, developing extensive experience in movement, fitness and body awareness.
In 2011, Jill’s own yoga journey deepened when she completed her 200-hour Yoga Shiromani teacher training at Sampoorna Yoga Ashram in Florida, studying under the guidance of Yogi Hari. Alongside her 20-year coaching career, yoga became an increasingly important part of her life, inspiring Jill to transition into teaching yoga full-time.
Jill went on to establish her own yoga studio in Swindon, where she has been teaching for over 14 years. Her little garden studio has grown into a welcoming and supportive part of the local community, providing students of all levels with a space to practise, connect and nurture their physical and mental wellbeing.
Alongside her yoga teaching, Jill also offers Ayurvedic Yoga Massage and Lymphatic Drainage, bringing together her extensive knowledge of the body with her passion for holistic wellbeing. These therapies complement her yoga practice beautifully, providing a more personalised approach to relaxation, mobility and overall wellbeing.
Jill’s approach is holistic, integrating movement, yoga, breathwork, mindfulness and therapeutic massage. Whether through a yoga class or an individual treatment, her aim is to create a supportive environment where people can slow down, reconnect with their bodies and develop a greater sense of balance and wellbeing.
