Revised by Challoner in 1748-1752 [NT], 1750 [OT].&nbsp; Challoner's version, using the KJ as its base text,&nbsp;is considered a different version. Official English Bible of the Catholic Church for years; still considered the Bible of choice for some Catholics&nbsp;</li><li><div>Tremellius:&nbsp;<strong>1569&nbsp;</strong>NT,&nbsp;<strong>1580&nbsp;</strong>OT&nbsp;- translation of the Vulgate. Imanuel Tremellius was a Hebrew converso and&nbsp;produced a translation of the Vulgate that is distinctive for its consistent use of 'Jehova' in the main text for the Tetragrammaton. We are privileged to have an original&nbsp;dated 1581. Our Latin isn't very good however when reading a page of the OT in this version 'Jehova' stands out</div></li><li>Fulke's Confutation, <strong>1589</strong>. A fervent Puritan, Fulke published a Bishops' Bible and Douay side-be-side. His comments attack either or both renderings of particular verses and Fulke was rabid in his disdain for the Douay and all things Catholic.
