We are delighted to announce our exciting new project.
Our predecessor, Premier Art Award London, organised a major international art competition at La Galleria in London every year for ten years, from 2010 until 2019, when the COVID-19 pandemic began. We are pleased to announce that, from the New Year of 2027, the competition will resume under a new team and with a new approach.
While the overall concept and purpose of the competition remain largely unchanged, there will be several new features. The competition will now consist of four categories:

- 2D Art
- 3D Art
- Photography
- Video / Animation
The winning works in each category will be presented in touring exhibitions in both London and Tokyo, providing artists with an opportunity to introduce their work to an international audience.
Flexible Entry System
We have also introduced a more flexible entry system. Participants may reserve the number of entries they wish to submit in advance and submit the actual images of their works by the final submission deadline.
This means that you do not need to have the finished work available at the time of registration. As long as the work is completed and the required images are submitted by the final deadline, you are welcome to enter the competition.
Themes
For the inaugural 2027 competition, there will be no specific theme, allowing artists complete creative freedom. For subsequent competitions, the theme will be announced one to three years in advance. This will give artists sufficient time to develop their ideas and create works specifically inspired by the announced theme, without unnecessary time pressure.
Uncovering and Supporting Hidden Talent
As with our predecessor competition, the fundamental purpose of this new international competition is to uncover, recognise, and support hidden artistic talent from around the world. We warmly welcome entries from everyone—from art students and emerging artists to established artists whose work has yet to receive international recognition.
You do not need to have an established reputation or an extensive exhibition history to participate. If you believe in your work and wish to share it with an international audience, we encourage you to apply.
A Simple and Accessible Selection Process
The selection process has also been designed to make participation as accessible and straightforward as possible.
There will be one selection stage, based entirely on images of the submitted works. There will be no separate first-round selection based on images followed by a second-round selection based on the physical works themselves.
This image-based selection process enables artists to participate easily, regardless of where they are located in the world. In our previous competitions, this method of selection was successfully used without compromising the quality of the works selected.

We look forward to welcoming artists from around the world and to discovering the next generation of international artistic talent.
