HUGE IMPORTANT NOTE!
To be accepted, a receipt MUST show the HST Amount
and the Vendor's HST Registration.
Specifically, we CANNOT accept
the Slips from Debit Machines,
Credit Card Statements,
and bank statements
Exceptions:
If the vendor's address is printed on the receipt and that address is in the United States, it is OK not to show HST.
If the vendor is an individual whose total business income is less than $30K per year, it is OK for the vendor not to be registered with the CRA... but the receipt must have the vendors name and postal address.
