Born in Antigua, Canon Rev. Donald Butler was ordained as a priest in 1985 and has worked in the Diocese of Toronto since 1989.

Born in Antigua, Canon Rev. Donald Butler was ordained as a priest in 1985 and has worked in the Diocese of Toronto since 1989.
He has served in several parishes in the diocese:
- Lead the building of The Church of the Nativity, Malvern.
- Served on many boards and committees inside and outside the church including the following:
- The Doctrine and Worship Committee,
- The Diocesan Multicultural Committee,
- The Antigua and Barbuda Hurricane Preparedness Committee,
- TAIBU Community Health Centre Board, and
- The Province of Ontario Child and Family Services Review Board.
Donald has a keen interest in sustainable farming and spends much of his spare time involved in urban farming in the Toronto area.
