The St Stephen's committee charged with leading the search for Fr Theadore's replacement invites you to include them in your prayers.
Almighty and most merciful God, we come together in faith believing that anything we ask you will do it; and nothing is impossible when we put our trust in you.
We praise you; we adore you and we magnify your Holy name. You are the God of all Gods; the ruler of all nations and we thank you for your never-ending grace and mercy in our lives.
Gracious God, we give you thanks for this congregation of St. Stephen, this place that you have provided for us to worship you in spirit and in truth.
We thank you for the countless preachers and teachers whose steps you have ordered and assigned to us throughout these many years.
Precious Lord, you know our needs before we ask as you are always present in every situation that we face. We are in need of a Minister at this time, and we are not able to do anything without you. So, we come to your throne asking you to help us as we are searching for the right person to fill this position.
We turn our eyes to you believing that you are our only source Lord, lead us to one of your chosen people that you have filled with your Holy and Life-giving Spirit.
We thank you Lord for what you are about to do, surround us with your favor as a shield and intervene on our behalf as we diligently carry out the task you have called us to do.
We give you all the praise, glory, and honour for what you are about to do as we search for our next minister.
Loving God, we place ourselves under the subjection of your Holy Spirit, strengthen us as we go out in faith, order our steps, open our eyes, and give us that spirit of discernment.
Blessed Saviour, we continue to exist because of your grace and mercy, you have done it before, and we believe without a doubt that you will do it again.
We ask this in the name that is above all names, the precious name of Jesus Christ our blessed Lord and Saviour. Thank you, Jesus! Hallelujah to the King of Kings!
