Maximize Profits: The Ultimate Guide on How to Sell Pallets in Farming Simulator 22

Selling pallets in Farming Simulator 22 is a smart way to turn your harvests into steady passive income, but it requires more than just driving a loader into a pile of boxes. This guide walks you through the entire process, from acquiring the right equipment to mastering the logistics of pallet management, so you can maximize your profits without wasting time or resources.

Understanding Pallets in Farming Simulator 22

Pallets act as standardized containers for harvested goods like grains, potatoes, and sugar beets, making them easier to transport and sell at a higher value per load. Unlike loose cargo, pallets stack neatly in your trailer and reduce unloading time, which is crucial when you are working against the clock or managing multiple fields. The key to profiting from them is knowing where and how to sell them within the game’s market system.

Required Equipment for Pallet Handling

To get started with pallets, you need a loader attachment and a compatible trailer. Most players begin with a front loader and a simple flatbed or tilt bed trailer, but upgrading to a dedicated pallet fork or a grapple loader dramatically improves efficiency. Make sure your tractor has enough horsepower and the correct attachment points, or you will struggle to lift full pallets without spilling them.

Where to Find Palletized Goods

Pallets appear at specific locations in the maps, especially at biogas plants, grain elevators, and specialized cargo points, rather than just sitting in open fields. You will typically fill them with sugar beets, chaff, or grain before transporting them, which means planning your harvest route around these collection spots is essential for a smooth workflow.

Selling Pallets for Maximum Profit

Transporting pallets to the correct selling point unlocks better prices than selling loose materials, but timing matters. Keep an eye on the market price graph in the game and complete deliveries when rates are high, because fluctuating demand can turn a profitable route into a money pit if you are not careful.

Route Planning and Logistics

Efficiency comes from planning your trips so you minimize empty drives back to the field. Use the in-game map to scout the shortest route between your harvest location and the selling point, and consider investing in a GPS system or navigation mods to save time. A well organized route means more pallets delivered per hour and more credits in your pocket at the end of the day.

Scaling Up Your Pallet Business

Once you understand the basics, expand by buying additional trailers, hiring AI drivers, and upgrading your storage capacity at your farm. Multiple trailers running in rotation allow you to keep harvesting and selling without returning to the field every time, which turns pallet delivery into a reliable income stream instead of a sporadic side job.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

New players often overload trailers beyond safe limits, ignore traffic rules, or choose distant selling points without checking return routes, all of which waste fuel and time. Avoid these pitfalls by sticking to realistic load sizes, using the mirror and camera systems to navigate tight spaces, and always verifying destination requirements before you start a delivery.
