Construction Code Information Welcome to the Construction Code Division The Construction Code Office is responsible for issuing building, plumbing, electrical, fire, and mechanical permits, and inspecting that work for compliance with the NJ adopted construction codes. We do this for the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens and summer visitors of Ocean City.
