I just saw a trailer for this film, and it looks so dark and bleak? Wicked should be bright, cheerful, maybe trying to get as close as technicolor as possible, the original wizard of oz looks ten times better and it's much older. Why do new movies look like that? It's not budget? how could you improve it and bring it closer to the original? Wicked director Jon M. Chu defends the movie's muted color grading.
