Problem1: maximize closet space by narrowing hallway to 40 and powder to 52 Problem2: reduce shower to 68 and layout master bathroom so that we can have a linen closet as well. I am still working on my master bedroom suite layout and came across the idea of "walk-through" closet that leads to the bathroom. I wanted to get this sub's input on this idea.

I've seen reddit and this sub discuss the idea of the walk-in closet access only being through the bathroom, but I haven't seen much discussion on "walk-through" closets. Some things I have decorative storage for, like a little cup with all my Q-tips on top of my sink and then the big box with allll the Q-tips are stored in a closet since I only need to replenish once every couple weeks. Can you hang the towels in use on a hook behind the door? Command makes big hooks that I use for this purpose.

These were old 1920 homes that all shared the similar floor plans; the closet was actually a hallway that ran from the front door to the back but nearly everyone converted it into a front coat closet and back bathroom. Also. These were just toilets, no sinks!

Advice on how to best organize bathroom towel/linen? closet. I know that I want my towels, (bath, hand, and face) to go in the bath closet. That will take up two shelves.

Took about 18 months. I dug the crawlspace by hand, with my son, in two days. Formed the footings and foundations with 2x10s that I later reused for floor framing.

Subbed out the insulation, plumbing rough-in, sheetrock, and insulation. We are adding an en-suite bathroom to our home addition. The bathroom itself has a door.

Additionally, there is an open "wet area" and a water closet, also closed by a door. My question is if I should have a door going into the closet. Doesn't feel necessary but would open the entrance.
