What can I expect on my tour? On your 90-minute walking tour, your tour guide will share personal Ohio State experiences and talk about the academic experience, residential experience and campus community. Schools will host open houses on both campuses. Academic Open House Season is your opportunity to learn about our new schools, their programs, and the opportunities they offer for majors and non-majors.

Attending an open house will allow you to: Connect with students, faculty, and staff from your favorite schools or academic programs. Get to know a major or minor better Learn about other. The Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences and the College of General Studies are hosting an Academic Open House for all new students from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, August 23 in the Posvar Galleria (main floor).

Whether you are a new first year or transfer student, please join us to ask questions and meet your fellow students, staff, and faculty. Representatives for each of the majors. The Academic Open Houses are a chance to meet faculty, explore department offerings, and connect with resources that will support your academic and career goals.

Undergraduate Open HousesFall Open Houses A great option for high school seniors and transfer students who are considering or planning to apply this fall, this large-scale visit is a bit more in-depth than a campus tour. During Open House, you will attend an information session and tour, academic overviews with college representatives and speak with campus partners to about TU.
