Hello @J. Forrest, welcome to Amazon Forums! I am sorry for the difficulty with Fire TV. If you want to check for the new option, head to your Fire TV's Settings area and look under Screensaver options in the Display & Sounds menu.

Apart from that, there isn't a dedicated feature for clock to display all the time.
