Abs Modul Bmw K1200s

I just completed an ABS-ectomy on my 2004 K1200RS. (See the thread A!@#$%ing ABS! in the K1200 Classic.). I used the Motor Works ABS Module Removal product.

It uses the stock ABS ECU from the bike. Brake light, tail light, and cruise control operates as before. The brakes feel great and the cost was a lot less than a replacement module.

Tried to find a repair facility for my ABS II module, watch a video how to repair and they mentioned Module Masters. Called them up, they said they can rebuild at a fraction of the price, sent the unit in, and it was returned in about 7 weeks even though the technician was on vacation for two weeks, installed on bike and works better than new. Apparently the brushes in the pump motor go bad. My pump would work sometimes and not others. Module Masters charges $250 and gives you a 5 year warranty.
