Bmw Digital Key Not Showing In App

I took it in to the dealer last week for some sort of system update that was supposed to fix this, but I still don't have any way to add my iphone as a digital key. The option is completely missing from the MyBMW app. The plastic card works fine, but I would like to set it up with apple wallet.

The line that I'm getting from the dealership is that there's a problem with the app that BMW is aware of and it will be updated 'any day now' and the Digital Key option will be showing, but that doesn't ring true when others seem to be using Digital Key just fine with the iX. BMW Digital Key is currently only supported on Apple iPhone. SET-UP BMW DIGITAL KEY. 9 steps instruction.

Open the My BMW App on your compatible iPhone and select "Digital Key" in the "Vehicle" tab. Note: "Digital Key" will not show if your BMW is not compatible. To install the Digital Key, hold the Setup Card against the back of a smartphone with the My BMW App and vehicle owner's BMW ID.

If the setup does not initiate, scan the QR code on the back of the Setup Card. The Digital Key worked well on both devices before the update. I have tried various methods, including deleting the BMW app and reinstalling it, removing the vehicle and adding it back to the app, and seeking help from the dealership.

Despite my efforts, I still cannot add the Digital Key Plus. This function worked perfectly before the new update. With the expanded remote control features in your My BMW app, in combination with the BMW Digital Key Plus, in proximity of your BMW, you can now use the My BMW app to unlock or lock the car.
