The best pillow ever in my opinion is my buckwheat husk pillow. It's many years old and still fully comfortable! Takes some getting used to, but my neck is so happy with it. 🏆 Buy It For Life I really need to buy some new pillows ASAP! Any help would be appreciated.
(self.Frugal) submitted 6 hours ago by LemonNo1542 Looking for new pillows! I would love recommendations for pillows. I'm a side sleeper, but I also want something that's good for back support when I'm reading in bed. I don't have allergies to any.
If you want the absolute best money can buy, you want a Down pillow. Specifically, you want a pure white goose down (preferably from Europe, specifically Poland, or Canada) with a very high Fill power. Recommendation for good pillows that AREN'T memory foam? (self.Mattress) submitted 6 days ago by littlebuttbigtitty I have tried many memory foam pillows and have yet to find one that doesn't cause me neck pain.
All my pillows suck. Whether I get them at Costco, BB&B, or Amazon. Where do I get the ones like you sometimes get at a hotel that are just amazing? Soft, but supportive like your head is just floating effortlessly? Also, once you get them, how do you maintain them and keep them awesome?
Once you buy a good pillow once you'll be able to just touch pillows at the store to determine if it's right for you so maybe experiment and buy a handful of really cheap pillows to test the firmness. Test the current pillows you have for firmness as well. Brand isn't so important so go cheap if you want to.
Honestly, after trying lots of pillows, I finally bought bulk poly-fill, ripped open a nice gussetted cover, overstuffed it with the fill, and sewed it up. Best pillow is so personalized. What I like in pillows is exactly the same, high loft, medium firmness, breathability not so much a concern though or something I notice though.
Ive been on the hunt for the perfect pillow as of recent, and Id say my 3 favorite so far are the following. All 3 I use a 100% mulberry silk pillowcase over the top of the manufacturer pillowcase. I actually buy latex foam pillows, they cost a bit more but last a decade.
These are the top pillows for stomach, back and side sleepers, as well as picks for neck pain and cooling. Fill materials include down, feather and memory foam.
