but when i googled their ages, it said house is 45 in s1 and cameron is 35. that doesn't seem like that huge of an age gap to me? it's definitely not twice her age. i'm wondering if.

On the wiki pages of Cameron, Chase, Thirteen, Kutner etc. they are all about 26/27 years old (not to mention Cameron who is supposed to be 25 in the first season?) how is this possible? I'm not from the US but I read that between undergrad, medical school and residency it should take about eleven years. I know that Jennifer Morrison was around 26 years old in Season 2 (source: Wikipedia, it's not there anymore but it was, she was born in 1979), and most tv show characters have the same age of their portrayers (for instance, House was born in 1959, the same year as Hugh Laurie).
So I think it's safe to assume that Cameron had the same age.
