Towel Warmer For Bathroom Reddit

I'm looking at putting in an electric towel warmer / rack in my master bathroom. I'm interested in direct wire models that mount directly to the wall. Does anyone have and recommendations on brands to look at or avoid? Has anyone added something like this to their bathroom in the past?

I don't know anything about towel warmers, but if it's something you're into I say go for it, bud:) Someday, my ideal luxurious bathroom will have a heated floor, really nice plumbing fixtures, and a toilet that lets you specify #1 and #2 and has a bidet. Is there any frugal way to warm towels in your bathroom without having a dryer nearby? Perhaps putting the already warmed towel into an insulated bag while I shower? Yes I totally know this is an unnecessary luxury that doesn't follow the textbook definition of frugal, but I've decided that warm towels are worth the extra effort. Archived post.

In some ways, it was better than a heated towel rack. It quickly warmed up the whole area outside the shower, so my towel, bathrobe, the tile floor, etc., were all a little bit warmer. Very nice to step out of the shower into that little warm bubble.

Just something else to consider, if you're unable to find a suitable heated towel rack. The warmth is nice of course, but just can't beat a very dry towel even if you shower two or more times a day like we do. Looked at the floor models, but just never got excited about the floor space they take up versus wall racks.

Doing a new master bath now and we will have a floor to ceiling electric wall rack this time. I can do without the towel warmers, although heated floors are amazing, especially in the winter. When I hopefully build in the next couple of years the master bath will absolutely have them.
