BMW has released an exclusive anniversary edition of its road-going superbike, the M 1000 RR, to celebrate nearly a century of motorcycle production, but more specifically, to celebrate 50 years of BMW M vehicles. The M RR 50 Years M: almost 100 years of motorcycle racing spirit and 50 years of motorsport history combined in one exclusive bike.
One glance is all it takes: the striking colour and the 50th anniversary BMW M logo of the M RR 50 Years M underpin the outstanding status of this extraordinary bike. The 2026 BMW M1000RR 50 Years M is a special edition motorcycle that celebrates the 50th anniversary of BMW's M division. It is based on the standard M1000RR, but features a number of unique upgrades, including a special paint scheme, carbon fiber bodywork, and a titanium exhaust system.
The engine has also been tuned to produce more power and torque, making the 50 Years M the most powerful. The special edition M 1000 RR with two cars from BMW's racing heritage, a 1973 3.0 CSL that was one of the first race cars built after the racing division was created in 1972, and a BMW M1 Procar.
