TrainerDesk Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
TrainerDesk: Client Portal (“the app”) is a scheduling tool for independent personal trainers. It is built local-first: your data lives on your device. This policy explains what is collected and why.
Data stored on your device
Clients, sessions, packages, and payment records you enter are stored locally in the app and, if you enable it, mirrored to your own private iCloud account as a backup. The developer cannot access your iCloud data. Payment records are notes only — the app never processes payments and takes no commission.
Client self-booking portal
If you share your booking link, clients can submit a booking request (their name, requested date/time, session length, and an optional note). These requests are sent to a service the trainer controls (Google Cloud Run + Firestore) for the sole purpose of delivering them to the trainer’s app for approval. This data is not sold, rented, or used for advertising, and is not used to track users across apps or websites.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, your device’s Apple Push Notification token is stored by the same service only to notify you of new booking requests.
What we do not do
No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs are embedded in the app. We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell your data.
Data retention & deletion
On-device data is removed when you delete the app. Booking requests in the portal service are transient and can be removed on request. To request deletion of any portal-side data, contact us below.
