Just saw the JYB voice clip of Ichigo going Bankai. But why didn't they ever fix this previously in the anime? They had years to switch it up.
Ichigo's reiatsu and Getsuga Tenshou was always intended by Kubo to be golden in color. While his bankai was meant to be black with a silver underglow & edge. But that can't be shown in black & white manga well, and his distinction of color likely wasn't well communicated at first.
